Midlife isn’t a deadline. For many women, it’s the starting line. These women didn’t pivot quietly — they built empires, reshaped industries, and proved that experience is a superpower.
Creating A Realistic January Routine You’ll Still Be Doing in March
January isn’t about pushing harder—it’s about training smarter. If workouts feel tougher and recovery slower in midlife, it’s not you, it’s your biology. Strength coach and nutrition expert Mia Honore, the newest member of the Pause Editorial Team, shares how to build a routine that actually works with your hormones.
Some of the smartest, most experienced women at the top of their game are quietly stepping back during perimenopause and menopause—not from a lack of ambition, but from systems that refuse to evolve. Pause co-founder and Editorial Team member Raquel Navarro breaks down what’s really happening—and how we change it.

Our Story
Pause was created by a group of women from diverse backgrounds — health, wellness, finance, career, community, and culture — each with years of experience in our respective fields. We came together around a shared belief: that this phase of life deserves thoughtful, trusted guidance that reflects the whole woman, not just her hormones.
What we couldn’t find for ourselves was a truly integrated approach. So we joined forces to create it.
Pause offers a 360-degree perspective — expert-backed information, lived experience, practical tools, and a community of women navigating this chapter together. It’s a place to learn, share, and connect — with clarity, confidence, and support — as we move through midlife and beyond.
